3 Ingredient DIY FAKE BLOOD, So Much Cheaper!

Need a little DIY fake blood for the walking dead in your house?  This recipe is cheap and easy with only 3 ingredients.  Your kids can make this gruesome blood for themselves.   Your little zombies will have a great time making and eating it! We created this video so you can follow along and make this yummy blood with us.

Fun Last Minute Family Halloween 2016 Costume

The whole family could have as much fun creating this zombie costume as wearing it.  Perfect for boys and girls!  Rip up some old clothes, mess up your hair, go roll in the dirt and smear this DIY FAKE Blood all over.  Oh! You could even go in the yard and throw blood at each other on Halloween night just to give it that natural look!

Simple DIY FAKE Blood Recipe

2 Cups Lite Corn Syrup

4 Tablespoons Chocolate Syrup

1 teaspoon Red Food Dye

Pour, Stir, Tastes, Paint your face!  I would suggest a glass or stainless steel mixing bowl as the blood red food dye might stain a plastic bowl.  We are not sure yet if it will stain clothes or not.  Test on your old “walking dead” clothes first.img_2358

This was super cheap compared to the store bought blood.  We made about 2 1/2 cups for less than 6 bucks while the store bought kind was around $5 for a small tube.  Plus, this is non-toxic and tastes great.

Simple to make too.  Older kids can do this all on their own.  A fun Halloween recipe that could be creatively served later over ice cream with gummy worms in it,  Not that you kids have not had enough sugar already.DiY fake blood

We did notice that it did dry within a few minutes so you could touch it without the blood coming off in you hand.  Plus, it does come off with water rather quickly.  As you can see my oldest needed a shower after this blood bath.

Happy Halloween! From the Joyous Family!
